To reduce food waste and extend shelf life, Corbion developed 'Utra Fresh', a baking innovation that sets a new standard for sustained and enhanced baking goods. Furthermore, it improves the freshness across the entire lifecycle of the product. Apart from shelf life extension the blend also has a positive effect on the taste of the baked products. Other ingredients such as sugars, high-fructose syrup and yeast can even be reduced. The eventual aim of 'Ultra Fresh' is to reduce food waste as an result of the extended shelf life.
